hello all sec 1, 2 and 3,here r the opportunities u can offered in the Libraries in November 2009...
here r the details:
1.Book-Crossing Data Entry @CTPL (Encourage to Come)**
Date: 26 November 2009 (Thursday)
Time: 2pm to 6pm
Venue: Central Lending Library (B1 of National Library, located at Bugis)
Meeting Point: Outside Central Lending Library Entrance...
What to do: U will be helping out to do some pasting, packing, writing, registering etc...
What to wear: Full Sch U or Home Clothes (Smart n Neat)...
2.SBPL Housekeeping and other duties**
Date: Every Monday
Time: 2pm to 6pm
Venue: Sembawang Public Library (located at Sun Plaza)
Meeting Point: Outside Sembawang Library Entrance...
What to do: U will be helping out to do some Admin Stuff etc...
What to wear: Full Sch U or Home Clothes (Smart n Neat)... No slippers, shorts, mini skirts or skimpy clothings r allowed!!!
3.WRL Housekeeping and other duties**
Date: Every Friday
Time: 2pm to 6pm
Venue: Woodlands Regional Library (located near to Causeway Point)
Meeting Point: Level 3, Customer Service Counter...
What to do: U will be helping out to do some Admin Stuff etc...
What to wear: Full Sch U or Home Clothes (Smart n Neat)... No slippers, shorts, mini skirts or skimpy clothings r allowed!!!
4. Donation Drive* (Only 4 Sec 3 Students)
Date: Every Weekends (Starting from 14 Nov Only)
Time: 11pm to 6pm
Venue: All Public Library
Meeting Point: Customer Service Counter...
What to do: To assist in the collection of sound recordings/ music scores/ concert progs etc. as well as to record details of the donated item. This opportunity is opened to all FOLs aged 15 years old and above. Briefing details will be sent to you soon.
What to wear: Full Sch U or Home Clothes (Smart n Neat)... No slippers, shorts, mini skirts or skimpy clothings r allowed!!!
5. Well-wishers for Singapore @Woodlands Regional Library**
Date: 20 November until December 2009
Time: 12pm to 6pm
Venue: Woodlands Regional Library (located near to Causeway Point)
Meeting Point: Level 3, Customer Service Counter...
What to do: The Wellwisher's Project is here again and we need volunteers to assist in manning the wishing stations. Your duty involves inflating the wishing spheres with the electric pump provided and encouraging the public to sign their well wishes on the spheres. Please remember that you are in an ambassadorial role and would be required to dress appropriately. Smart casual dress code is highly encouraged. Please bring along a jacket if you are prone to the possible low temperatures in the library. Thanks :)!
