note: all timing is 1pm to 5pm on saturdays...

besides tt we also need ppl 2 help out in de following events:

1.User Guides @ all libraries
Description : Calling all Friends of the Library! We need user guides cum customer service assistants to guide our readers on how to use our facilities and services (e.g. making payment though e-Kiosk, basic customer service etc). Training will be provided. It will be good if you are already familiar with using the libraries' eKiosks. For this opportunity, we will require mature volunteers who are 18 years and above, friendly and able to interact with people from all walks of life. ** Dress code will be polo t-shirt or round neck t-shirt and either dark long pants or jeans. Please refrain from using tops with any advertisement or offensive messages. Please note that we do not allow any slippers, shorts, miniskirts or skimpy clothing, as our volunteers are in an ambassadorial role during this period. Remember to bring along a jacket as the library can get very cold. Thanks!

2. Book Exchange @ all libraries
Description : WE ARE LOOKING for volunteers who are able to assist us by manning the booths where library patrons can go to exchange their old books for coupons. No prior experience needed, except for a friendly smile. Shifts are as follows: 10am to 2pm, 2pm to 6pm and 6pm to 9pm. You will be required to assist in the screening of books and handing out coupons. Dress code will be polo t-shirt or round neck t-shirt and either dark-coloured long pants or jeans. Please refrain from using tops with any advertisement messaging. Note that we DO NOT allow slippers, shorts, miniskirts or skimpy clothing. Please bring along a jacket if you are prone to the possible low temperatures in the library. Thanks!
