so sorry for the long delay in updating~Happy 2009 to all librarians xD
a common topic of discussion on the tagboard seems to be that the library is lacking in members.
actually, us Sec 4s will be leaving the library after Term 1 to better concentrate on our O Levels, which will supposedly leave the library club with a much smaller member count.
To improve things, maybe we could try & think up more activities, etc for library club members, then maybe we can attract more of the new Sec 1 students to join.
but there is no point in having librarians who do not work and whose three duty hours a week are just spent playing games.
not many may be willing to keep working at the library, since its quite a thankless task and there's always manual and (relatively) boring work such as shelving to be done.
so yeah, thus the more activities for librarians idea.
any suggestions?
We will also be choosing the new library exco soon, before us Sec 4s step down xD

recently, Miss Michelle Chang has made trips to Borders and Kinokuniya, & come back with A LOT of new books (:
but there is also a lot of work involved before the new books can go on the shelves, so please be patient, & drop by to give Mrs Lim a hand whenever you're free.
librarians get first dibs on the books too! :D
